Work day......the high temp today was about 30 degrees so everything still pretty frozen in the woods.
Cody flew in last evening and was anxious to head to the woods, no syrup making today though! He started the day at Clyde Ace Hardware for yet another couple of boxes of screws...we are sure they wonder what any family does with this many screws!
Brad and Cody spent a very productive day putting batting strips on the storage building at the woods. Brad measured and cut strips to length and Cody put them up. They quit about 6 pm , 500 screws gone and actually ran out of the previously cut wood strips. These went up rather easily.
Gerri helped a bit in the afternoon....she was also "Bailey sitting" so that added distraction.

Thankful for an uneventful, productive day!
